At HB Lanarc, we take a practical, "whole-system" approach to green building and infrastructure, factoring in everything from state-of-the-art energy modeling to wetlands-based storm- and waste-water handling. We have been involved in British Columbia’s green-building movement since its earliest days, and our principals were the first LEED-accredited planners in the country.
We work with public and private organizations to help develop innovative, integrated, and sustainability-focused solutions. Whether a single project or a whole community, we create places that are resilient, efficient, and ultra-livable—projects that advance the well-being of both the residents and the surrounding ecosystem.
We take an integrated, multi-disciplinary design approach that incorporates demand management, flexibility and adaptation, and which delivers practical, realistic solutions. When sustainability ventures into unfamiliar territory, we help clients to figure out what questions to ask.
